Nature conservation
In consideration of the nature conservation and forest management - being apparently in contradiction with each other - SEFAG Ltd aims at the sustainable development with its activity. It is known the forests shall be protected from other persons rather than from the foresters. We the foresters are aware of our responsibilities for the forests that we have to manage as well as for the nature and for maintenance of the flora and fauna typical in Somogy County. We declare the best nature conservation is the professional forest management that does not preclude the possibility of consideration of necessary limitations.
Much depend on it that the conflicts between management and conservation (protection) are solved by finding some compromise. With this purpose, conferences with title of Forest management and nature conservation have regularly been organised in South-Transdanubian Region since 1994. SEFAG Ltd performed the part of host in the conferences held in 1994 and 2001.
